This is an extraordinary gelding that is fine, elegant and possesses beautiful movement. He is very compact in build and has been extensively handled since birth. He is fully halter led, his feet have been trimmed regularly, and he is extremely people friendly, inquisitive yet well mannered.
He has been bred to perform and will become a top dressage prospect. He has a lovely walk, a trot that covers the ground and a very light canter with an elegant ballerina type interpretation. Julio R has the kindest of natures and is very gentle.
Julio’s sire, Jive Magic is as we all know one of Australia’s top Grand Prix competitors. On the dams side Julio is out of the Regardez Moi mare Ribena R. Regardez Moi is a likely contender for the next Olympics in London, and further down in Julio’s pedigree there is Salute who is the sire of Victory Salute who just came 9th in the world in Grand Prix dressage at the WEG in Kentucky in 2010. As you can see, Julio’s pedigree is incredible, and coupled with his kind nature he is a dream to own!
